2009 Spiritual Emphasis Day
November 13, 2009 was a great day for CRA high school students.  This was the day of the 2009 Spiritual Emphasis Day.  During the day, the students had opportunity to participate in multiple worship offerings as well as service projects.  Among the projects were singing at Paragould nursing homes, delivering cookies to those who help the school, raking leaves, cleaning the school, and more.  For more pictures, be sure to check out the photo gallery on the website.

2009 Veteran's Day on CRA Campus
On November 11, Gary James and Ed Land came on the CRA campus to share their thoughts about Veteran's Day.  Mr. James, while never serving in a war, was in the service for a number of years.  He emphasized that, if students served in any branch of the military, they performed an admirable duty, whether or not they fought in a war.  

Mr. Land, a former CRA teacher and administrator, shared some thoughts about 1968 CRA graduate, Mounce West.  Mounce was killed on March 1, 1969 while serving his country in the Vietnam conflict.  We now have a plaque on the wall in his honor.

These two gentlemen helped make the Veteran's Day ceremony one that the students will not soon forget.
